Having to go outside of the organization is usually a difficult decision.  It sometimes does not feel natural or appropriate, but is very often necessary.  We will always encourage our clients to look within the organization prior to engaging our firm in an external search.  However, in order to insure that the best and most qualified candidate is selected, it may be prudent to compare the internal candidate/s with external ones.  Typically however, our clients engage J E Oller Associates when the internal search efforts have been exhausted and they are in need of assistance in acquiring the best and most talented executives outside of their own organizations.  We treat internal candidates with the same respect and consideration afforded external ones.
